General Manager
This leadership position requires a strong background in hospitality management, with at least 2 years of experience in upper-level management. The ideal candidate will have a passion for fostering a positive, high-energy work environment while driving operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee all aspects of Billie’s operations, including the bakery, kitchen, and front-of-house (FOH) staff
- Lead the hiring, training, and supervision of all team members to ensure top-quality service and efficiency
- Provide strong leadership, guidance, and direction to all staff in a fast-paced hospitality setting
- Collaborate with HR and Marketing teams to ensure seamless daily operations and effective communication
- Manage location-specific financials, including budgeting, accounting, and achieving financial goals

Key Responsibilities:
- Process customer payments accurately using cash registers and point-of-sale (POS) systems
- Handle various payment methods including cash, credit cards, and mobile payments
- Greet customers professionally and assist with menu inquiries

- Maintain a clean and organized cashier station

Key Responsibilities:
- Wash, peel, chop, slice, and grate fruits and vegetables
- Measure and assemble ingredients for menu items according to recipes
- Prepare simple dishes such as salads, entrees, and sauces
- Ensure all food and other items are stored properly
- Comply with nutrition and sanitation guidelines
- Perform preliminary cooking duties, such as reducing sauces and parboiling food
- Maintain a clean and orderly kitchen by washing dishes, sanitizing surfaces, and taking out the trash
- Assist with stock and inventory management
- Set up and sanitize workstations
- Maintain kitchen equipment and report any malfunctions

Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate the efficient flow of orders from the kitchen to patrons
- Clearly communicate order information to cooks and relay any special requests
- Ensure orders are prepared in the correct priority
- Inspect completed dishes for accuracy, presentation, and proper temperature before they leave the kitchen
- Add final touches to dishes, such as garnishes, and remove any smudges.
- Maintain a clean and organized expo station
- Inform staff of any shortages or out-of-stock items
- Assist with tasks such as answering phones or cleaning, as needed
- Uphold quality and sanitation standards

Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver food orders from the kitchen to the correct tables in a timely manner, ensuring accuracy and proper presentation
- Assist with setting up tables, including placing tableware, utensils, and glassware
- Explain specials, meals, and drinks to customers, and answer any questions.
- Remove dirty dishes from tables and assist with table resetting
- Relay customer feedback and complaints to restaurant management
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the expediting and serving areas.
- Communicate effectively with kitchen staff, servers, and bartenders regarding orders and customer requests
- Double-check orders before delivery to ensure accuracy
- Assist back-of-house team with carrying plates and beverages

Dishwasher
Key Responsibilities:
- Load, run, and unload dishwashing machine
- Wash specific items by hand, such as wooden cutting boards, large pots, and delicate china
- Sort and rinse dirty dishes, glass, tableware, and other cooking utensils and place them in racks
- Sort and stack clean dishes and carry them to the cook's line and other storage areas
- Ensure the availability of clean dishes by bussing tables, washing dishes, pots, pans, and flatware, and resetting dining areas
- Keep the dish machine clean and report any functional or mechanical problems immediately
- Bag and haul dish room trash to the dumpster
- Handle tableware carefully to prevent breakage and loss
- Sweep and mop floors, especially if items are broken or spilled
- Clean machines and appliances used in the kitchen, such as coffee makers, pots and pans, and mixers
- Take out the trash and rinse garbage cans
Key Qualifications:
- Ability to stand or walk for 8-hour shifts and lift at least 20 pounds.
- Willingness to comply with all food safety procedures.
